About The Cavaliers Percussion Section

The Cavaliers were founded in 1948 by the late Don W. Warren, as the drum and bugle corps for Boy Scout Troop 111 in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. The Cavaliers have won 20 national championships, including seven Drum Corps International (DCI) championships since 1992. Michael McIntosh has been involved with The Cavaliers for over 20 years as an educator and designer. He has been a part of multiple World Championships and Fred Sanford Highest Percussion Awards. Michael has a degree in Composition from Butler University, is a WGI and DCI judge and currently an executive in the eCommerce space with ChannelAdvisor.
