

About Angel Frette & Ensamble de Percusión Fundación Cultural Patagonia
The Percussion Ensemble was created in 1999 by Ángel Frette with the aim of approaching the repertoire of chamber music for percussion. It depends on the Patagonia Cultural Foundation, develops its main activity in the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén.
He has performed concerts with the maestros: William Moersch and Rebeca Kite (USA), Eduardo Gianesella (Brazil), Stuart Marrs (USA), Miguel Bernat (Spain), Ludwig Albert (Belgium), Trío Amores (Spain), Israel Moreno (Mexico) , Anders Astrand, (Sweden) Ángel Frette (Arg) .Rich o Meara, Kevin Bobo, John Wooton (USA) Noriko Tsukagoshi, (Japan) Etc…
During 2002 he performed in 2 concerts held at the Teatro Colón in Bs As and in various cycles of contemporary music. From 2003 to the present year he is the organizer and participates in the Patagonia International Percussion Festival, which is held annually at the Patagonia Cultural Foundation. In addition, he performed at the Arte a Palos I and II Percussion Festival (Bs As), at the International Electroacoustic Music Festival (Neuquén) and at the end of 2006 at the Montevideo-Uruguay percussion festival.
In 2005 he published his first compact with works by Argentine authors.
In 2010 they appeared in Pasic accompanying Ángel Frette.
In 2012 and 2013 he performed again at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires.
2013 at the Cajón Peruano festival in Peru, and at the Festival of Percussion Ensembles in Costa Rica.
In 2014 he made his first European tour appearing in Spain and Croatia.
2015 at the “Tomarimbando” Percussion Festival in Portugal.
2022 premieres the concert for 3 percussionists and orchestra by Lisandro Parada.
