
About Damon Grant
Damon Grant is a professional percussionist who works with world-renowned musicians. He recorded an album called ‘Prevailing Melodies’ produced by David Ryan Harris. The album features Harris, along with: Morgan James, Marc Broussard, Zane Carney, Stephen Kellogg JJ Johnson & more. He recorded on the Grammy-Nominated album by Joe Louis Walker. Previous to that he worked with Madonna on her Super Bowl halftime show, MDNA tour, & DVD premiere. As a sideman, Damon has performed and/or recorded with world-class musicians in all genes including: Charlie Hunter, Eric Hutchinson, Javier Colon, Erich Bergen, Norbert Leo Butz, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Stefon Harris, Randy Rainbow, & countless others. He’s been featured in Modern Drummer & Latin Beat magazines, performed at the 1996 & 2012 Olympics & was a member of both the Cadets & Boston Crusaders drum corps. He was also a member of American Music Award winning group, The Bomb Squad, and the Tony and Emmy winning Broadway show Blast!
Damon uses Latin Percussion, Vic Firth, Zildjian, Remo, DW Hardware, SKB, JH Audio, Sennheiser, Roland, Amplified Timber, and Cymbal Resonance System.
