Dustin Donahue is a percussionist residing in San Diego, California, where he performs regularly with the percussion group Red Fish Blue Fish and the chamber group Ensemble Et cetera. He has performed alongside Dawn Upshaw, Eighth Blackbird, the Bang on a Can All-Stars, and frequently appears with the International Contemporary Ensemble. As a soloist, Donahue has been featured at the Carlsbad Music Festival, Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, and John Cage Centennial Festival in Washington, D.C. He appears on several releases for Mode Records and Populist Records. Donahue received his Bachelor of Music degree in percussion performance from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he studied with Anthony Di Sanza. He received his Master of Arts degree from the University of California at San Diego, where he is currently a doctoral candidate under the guidance of Steven Schick.
