About Jim Toscano

Jim Toscano is a NYC freelance drummer, veteran educator, and clinician. He is the author of Filling In The Grooves: The Ultimate Guide To Drum Fills on Hudson Music. Jim’s playing and passion for teaching arrived at a young age. He has built a successful private teaching and technology coaching practice with more than 200 students worldwide, and maintains a busy online presence, live streaming, workshops, master classes and his weekly Hand Technique Workshop. Jim is a frequent contributor to the Sabian Education Network.

Jim is currently working with several NY Artists and many recording projects, including Giant Flying Turtles, Roger Street Friedman Band, and One Block East, an original Jazz Fusion ensemble.

Jim Toscano plays Sabian cymbals, Prologix Percussion, Vater Drumsticks and Offset Pedals.
