About Matt Nolan
Matt Nolan is a self-taught, independent metal percussion instrument maker from England, UK, known for hand-crafting cymbals, gongs, triangles, chimes, sculptural instruments and historical reproductions. His PASIC booth, a fixture since 2009 has become a favourite with many attendees. Matt’s instruments are used by orchestras and musicians on six continents (still working on Antarctica!), some have appeared in museums and galleries, and many can be found on recordings and broadcasts from small jazz bands to internationally reknowned orchestras, to boundary pushing artists including Massive Attack, King Crimson and Bjork.
