About Project Ohr

Sharing the same passion for sounds, intense listening and working with other instruments than the so-called “classical” ones, Romane Bouffioux and Juliana Santacruz quickly felt the desire to share these feelings on stage. How can we share and transmit with music? The duo explores a new sound world, using electronic objects and materials. They also question themselves about space, stage and audio-visual work. For this reason video and light work is very present in their performances. They are inspired by current composers such as Ashley Fure, Cathy Van Eck, Simon Steen Andersen…
They are also very affected by geo-political conflicts and this project is also a way to express themselves in relation to these events. Their different origins is a richness that they use to link these different cultures and countries. With this project they create a link between Switzerland and Colombia, mixing culturand countries.
