About Terry DeHart Duo
Duo members Nick Terry and Justin DeHart have a long history of musical collaboration, beginning in 2002 as classmates at the California Institute of the Arts, in Valencia, CA. As members of Los Angeles Percussion Quartet since 2009, the two have commissioned, performed, and recorded dozens of new music for percussion, focusing primarily on composers from the West Coast of the United States. Nick, an Associate Professor at Chapman University’s Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music in Orange, CA, and Justin, Associate Professor at University of Canterbury, New Zealand, are both YAMAHA Performing Artists and endorsers of Black Swamp Percussion, REMO, Sabian, and Innovative Percussion Inc.
