I highly recommend participating in the PAS Symphonic Labs, because there is no better place to get inside the head of an orchestral percussionist!
The PAS Symphonic Labs are one of my favorite aspects of PASIC each year! Getting the chance to work on playing marimba solos in an audition setting with Will James was an amazing opportunity and I got a lot out of it. The Symphonic Labs have made me a better percussionist and musician, and I would definitely recommend any aspiring orchestral percussionist to participate in them!
I had a great time participating in Professor Jerry Noble’s symphonic lab at PASIC. It was a great experience to collaborate with percussionists from around the world and had a great time playing with them too!
